You Asked, We Listened

Hirschfeld has been asking our residents for feedback on incorporating some additional functionality to our website for your convenience.  We would like you to know that we have been listening!  Several features have now been added to the site, and more are being developed.  Now that some of these new features are available on the website we are excited to share these with you!

Submit Your Service/ Maintenance Requests via the Website

Our residents have previously been required to place maintenance requests in person, or over the phone, which we realized was not always convenient.  Based on your feedback, we have built a new online service ticket request form.  While you will still have the option to place your service requests via phone or in person, you can also submit your service request via our website.  To create a ticket, visit www.hirschfeldhomes.com and click on the “Contact Us” icon on the top right of the screen.  This will bring up a form for contacting us. If this is a service ticket, there is a link at the top of the contact form for you to select and create your request.  These requests are immediately submitted to the property managers and we will follow up with your request within 24 hours, as always.

Our Site is built for your Mobile Devices

Hirschfeld’s website (www.hirschfeldhomes.com of course!) is now built with a responsive design. To take out the geek speak, that means you can now use the site from any of your mobile devices.  Since so many of our residents like the convenience of the pay rent online feature, this now makes it even easier.  You can pay your rent online from your cell phone, your iPad, your computer, or… well you get the point.  Also, you can submit a service or maintenance request now directly through the site as well.

As mentioned earlier, there are a few other things in the works around here for the website.  Soon we will be adding a “Residents Resources” section.  This section will provide our residents with a central location to find answers to your questions.  In this section you will also be able to select your apartment home community and find out specific information about your property.  Things like: recycling guidelines at your property, some “things to do and see,” and our personal favorite “local eats.”

Here is where we need your help!  Please visit our Facebook page (and don’t forget to  “Like Us” if you have not already) and let us know what your favorite place to eat is in the area.  Let’s face it, there are many options of where to dine these days and when you move in to a new place it can be a bit overwhelming finding out what is good and what is well… not.  We would like to create a section on the “Local Eats” page that includes “Resident Recommendations!”  Who else would know better where to find the best pizza than you and your neighbors?  So let us know where you like to eat, and what you would recommend from there and post it to one of our community Facebook pages.  It will only take a minute, something as simple as “Love ‘the Vito’ at Jimmy John’s;” which incidentally we do – yum!  Ready, set, Go! 🙂  We are listening!
