Residents at Stony Brook Village Apartment Homes in Connecticut had a chance to share their Christmas lists with Santa and enjoy some refreshments. Our residents took photos and enjoyed cookies, cake, chocolate milk, pound cake, and hot coffee; all while meeting Santa. He was kind enough to be here on Sunday from 11a.m – 2p.m and took photos with the kids & adults too! A tremendous thank you to our residents & employees in our greater New Haven, CT community! We asked for donations to our food drive this Thanksgiving and our Stony Brook Village residents delivered! We mentioned in our previous blog that we are collecting non-perishable food items at all of our communities, but what we didn’t tell you is that our residents at Stony Brook Village have the opportunity to win our Turkey raffle! That’s right, you heard us correctly. Hirschfeld is proud you decided to call us home and for that we want to say THANK YOU, and not just once in a while, but as a reminder each and every month. Our Apartment Home Communities host individual events each month for our residents; from Wine & Cheese Night on the red carpet, to a Trunk or Treating event for Halloween, to Pizza & Bingo Night, and so much more. Halloween 2013 here in Connecticut was a beautiful, and unseasonably warm fall day this year. Here at the Stony Brook Village Apartments our team had a wonderful time decorating the leasing office for all of the fun! The decorations were in preparation for our “Spooky Brook” Halloween Party. We may have gone a bit overboard, but we wanted to be sure everyone had a great time. The leasing office was covered with ghoulish and fun decorations; including a talking pumpkin, spiderwebs, skeletons, tomb stones, and of course lots of black and orange balloons for the kids. Stony Brook Village Apartments have had a very eventful and enjoyable summer thanks to all of the fun activities in and around the Town of New Haven. This year the East Haven Chamber of Commerce held it’s 2nd Annual Lobsterpalooza event. The Stony Brook Village rental team was in attendance and had a great time!
