Also, I absolutely love making things pretty, so I ordered some 2.5″ diameter labels off of Amazon and got to work. So here are my three favorite recipes for all natural homemade cleaning products along with some labels for your pretty glass bottles. Enjoy your FREE Printables!

Lately, I’ve been super selective about what types of cleaners I allow into my home. Last year I scoured Pinterest and made my own, all-natural cleaners, and some worked MUCH BETTER than others. So I started doing some research… turns out; just because some Pinterest images are pretty – doesn’t mean that the recipes are legit!

FUN EXPERIMENT: Go ahead and do a Pinterest search for combining all natural Castile soap and Vinegar recipes (there are a ton!) The REAL problem here is that these two ingredients actually cancel out the effectiveness once they are combined. (If you are a science geek like me and want to understand why, this article is a big help.)

So, I’ve gone out and asked, tested, and have come up with some GREAT recipes that ACTUALLY WORK!

3 Amazing All Natural Cleaner Recipes Using Only 7 Ingredients in Total!

  • All Purpose Kitchen

  • Bathroom Cleaner

  • Glass/ Window Cleaner

A couple of things to keep in mind before you make these amazing cleaners:

  • Be sure to use glass bottles, as the essential oils are powerful and can break down the plastics over time.
  • Consider using distilled or boiled water instead of tap water if you expect these cleaners to be sitting for a long period. Tap water can contain bacteria and metals which can speed up rancidity of our essential oils…. (here you go science lovers!)
  • Shake your bottles up before using them, so the active ingredients don’t settle at the bottom.
